How it Works

Students will bring home fundraising packets in their backpacks on Friday, November 16th & Monday, November 19th.

Students will participate in their classroom's Dance-A-Thon during the week of December 3rd. Each student will dance during the school day as part of his or her regularly scheduled P.E. class that week. The money raised will be used to fund arts programming and technology as well as community-wide events like Unity Through the Arts & Sciences.

Students can collect pledges from friends and family in-person or online. All pledges should be a flat amount. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Peterson; cash is also welcome. Online pledges can be made by going to www.friendsofpeterson.org and clicking on the grade level of the student. At each grade level page, there is a donate button. Students should make sure that donors indicate the student’s name  in the comment when donating online. Parents can also easily share their child’s grade level page electronically through Facebook, Twitter, and e-mail.

All pledge forms must be turned in with pledge money by Friday, December 14th. These can be turned into your child's homeroom teacher or to the main office.
